Before the steaming process starts, the paddy is cleaned and sanitized. The capacity of our paddy cleaner is 6.5 tons. The cleaned grains are then sent to a steaming chamber. Next, the dry steam is allowed to flow over the grains. The moisture level of the steamed grains is dropped to 10 percentage, using hot air.
The purpose of lowering the moisture is to make the rice stay fresh and healthy even hours after cooking. Since the moisture is sucked out, the shelf life of the rice grains is better.Long grains with a clean sortex is the output of such steaming process. This steaming drives away the impurities and micro organisms if any. Another advantage of steaming is that the grains become harder and thus there is zero breakage while cooking.
